The Crazy Time!

OK. So I am not sure about Cyber Monday.
We will see about how folks shop today on etsy. I was super busy over the holiday!!! We are working like madmen with the last of our holiday wholesale orders, local orders, and etsy.
We are having fun though! It is like a game to us and we already joke that with the two little ones we never sleep anyways!

Brand New for the Holidays is the adorable maple wood teething toy set for the wee ones!

We made a custom set like this for a sweet little sweetheart named Myla Belle and we decided that we would share them with everyone!

All little ones love mama and papa's keys and so now you can give them their own that is good to chew on instead of sharp metal!

The set includes three hardwood maple five inch keys and a three inch maple key fob. The set is held together by very short piece of ribbon that you may change out with hemp/rope/ribbon that you like. You may use one key as a teether and hemp the rest together.
It is a versatile toy that will last well beyond teething as my preschooler like to drive his "car" with the keys!

I was gonna make a Newkie Brown Snake but this is way cool!

A place for everything!

One 2 3/4 square unfinished pine pencil holder for the pencils that roll around yr life. I love having small items like this in my children's art area as I feel it gives them a place for everything and instills autonomy and responsibility. It sits sweetly waiting to be filled. A wonderful stocking stuffer!

1. I love hats. All year long.

3. I am very crafty but also very messy and would love to be organized and have a gorgeous creative space. I do not have one at the moment.
I have a makeshift office in a playroom. Boo Hiss.
4. I love hot sauce in a bad way.

6. I have never worn a watch.

Some days are diamonds/some days are stone

Having a small business is hard. I stood all morning at the sink and sanded teethers by hand as my wee one sat at my feet on the linoleum and played trains. I wanted to be on the floor too. I just feel like it is important to not always talk about the swooning and delirious happy aspects of owning a small business, of building a small business. It is also hard and makes me choke back tears at the amount of time we have all spent as a family these past months (so...very..few)

I think it is all worth it. I think we are on a learning curve, much like parenting where one day we will just go, "ah yes" and things will settle until they are ready to explode again. We are teaching our children about hard work and following paths and the creative life. And some days are just hard. That's all.

But like we always say if it were easy everyone would be doing it right? If it were simple it would not be so thrilling!
